Description - Harpagophytum (Devil's claw)
Introduced to Europe in the early 20th century, Harpagophytum procumbens has been the focus of numerous studies demonstrating the soothing properties of harpagosides on the joints. Harpagosides contributes to the maintenance of normal joints. An optimal dose of 2 tablets of organic harpagophytum per day is enough to provide the body with approx. 20 mg of harpagosides. Historically, harpagophytum or "devil's claw" has been used to support joint comfort.
How Fleurance Nature promotes sustainable harvesting: Fleurance Nature has selected an organic variety of harpagophytum procumbens, produced using a harvesting and drying technique that respects the natural life cycle and sustainability of the species: a small trench is dug at a distance from every flower leaving the main root securely in place and extracting only one section of the secondary roots. This ensures that the plant is not destroyed.
