The fruit of the lemon tree - this essential citrus fruit first appeared on the borders of China and India approximately 3,000 years ago. Nowadays, it is widely grown on the Mediterranean coast as well as in all regions of the world with a semi-tropical climate.
Lemon essence, traditionally used for its numerous properties, is contained in small pockets in the peel. This essence is extracted by cold pressing - a method that does not involve heating but which subjects the fresh fruit pericarp to very high pressure.

Dietary tips
- Dilute 1 drop of essential oil on a neutral tablet, a sugar cube or in a spoonful of honey
- Do not swallow neat
- 1 drop is equivalent to 25 mg of essential oil
