Description - Fine lavender essential oil
Organic lavender officinalis essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh flowering tops of the plant.
It is traditionally used for its purifying and relaxing properties and to cleanse and beautify the skin.
It is 100% pure and natural and is produced organically.
- For diffusion: A delightful fragrance that perfumes the air, soothes the spirit and induces sleep. A few drops on a piece of wood or cotton wool in a wardrobe helps to repel moths and keep your clothes smelling fragrant.
- For use as a flavouring agent: 2 or 3 drops may be used to flavour culinary dishes.
- For application to the skin: May be massaged or rubbed into the skin, diluted in a vegetable carrier oil for a relaxing and calming effect.
- A few drops may be added to your regular skincare cream for its cosmetic properties and to soothe irritations or insect bites.
Dietary tips
- Dilute 2 to 3 drops of essential oil on a sugar cube or in a spoonful of honey
- Do not swallow neat
- 1 drop is equivalent to 25 mg of essential oil
