Description - Camomille Romaine essential oil

As its name suggests, Roman Chamomile was used in Rome for its various properties from the 16th century onwards. It is also known as Noble Chamomile and grows very well across western Europe. It is a herbaceous plant with a distinctive flower and white petals. It flowers between July and September.
Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers. In this process, the volatile components (essential oils) of the flower are entrained with the steam. The steam then condenses in the essential oil separator, separating the essential oil from the hydrolate (water).
Our Roman Chamomile, Chamaemelum nobile, essential oil is 100% pure and natural. It is obtained from flowers grown in France in accordance with Organic Production specifications.

Dietary tips

Dilute 2 to 3 drops of essential oil per day on a neutral tablet, a sugar cube or in a spoonful of honey.
