Every year, with the arrival of spring, pollens are released into the air causing increasing numbers of people to develop allergies. These seasonal allergies generally manifest in numerous problems: red and swollen eyes, runny nose, repeated sneezing, itching sensation in the throat, ears and palate, etc.

L’allergie est due à un dérèglement du système immunitaire. Le mécanisme se passe en deux temps :

Phase de sensibilisation : le système immunitaire surréagit dès qu’il entre une première fois en contact avec un allergène inoffensif (ex: graminées ou pollens). Il se met alors à produire en grande quantité des anticorps spécifiques (les immunoglobulines E) qui vont se fixer à la surface des mastocytes (globules blancs) pour se défendre de l’allergène identifié à tort comme agressif.

Phase de réaction allergique : le système immunitaire entre de nouveau en contact avec l’allergène et les mastocytes sensibilisés vont libérer de l’histamine en excès (substance pro inflammatoire) qui va déclencher une réaction allergique. Cette réaction sera d’abord précoce car elle interviendra quelques minutes après la rencontre avec l’allergène provoquant ainsi éternuements, écoulement nasal et/ou larmoiement. Puis plus tardivement, elle s’aggravera avec des manifestations allergiques (obstruction nasale, inflammation …).

Dietary advice

Take 1 tablet per day with a large glass of water at breakfast.
Start 1 month before the allergy season and continue for up to 3 months, at most, depending on requirements.

Nutritional analysis per tablet: Quercetin: 250 mg. Nettle extract: 225 mg, i.e. 900 mg of DPE*. Black garlic extract: 200 mg, i.e. 2000 mg of DPE*.
