Floral waters are a by-product of the distillation of flowers from which an essential oil has been extracted. During the distillation process, steam circulates through the flowers, then recondenses to form a floral water. This slow distillation process ensures that the flower's natural active ingredients are optimally preserved. The Damask rose petals used to produce our floral water have been carefully selected and harvested organically in Morocco.

Questions - Answers - Damask rose floral water
How is Damask rose floral water produced?
The Damask rose flowers used to produce this floral water mist are carefully selected and harvested from organic crops in Morocco. They are then steam-distilled using traditional know-how to preserve their natural active ingredients.
What preservative is used in the floral water mist?
It is Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, a 100% natural preservative obtained through the fermentation of radish roots (Raphanus sativus).
Why don’t you make a preservative-free formula?
Floral waters and hydrosols are particularly fragile and sensitive to microbiological contamination. Therefore, a pure floral water without preservatives could only be kept for a few days after opening. To ensure reliable microbiological quality and a shelf life of 12 months, floral water mists contain a very small amount of preservatives, all of which are approved under the Ecocert organic cosmetics standard. Despite this, floral waters remain sensitive to light (hence the blue packaging, which protects them from UV rays), so it is preferable to store them away from light.
How do you choose between these 3 floral waters?
You can choose a floral water either for its specific cosmetic properties or according to its fragrance. For example, cornflower floral water is more suitable if you are looking to reduce puffiness around tired eyelids; rose floral water helps purify and tone the skin; and orange blossom floral water is known for its soothing and rebalancing action on delicate skin.
What does the statement “Product tested under dermatological control” mean?
This statement means that a study was conducted under the supervision of a dermatologist. Rose floral water was tested for 21 days by 23 women aged 24 to 66, and was very well tolerated :
- 83% of the volunteers felt that the product refreshed the skin.
- 58% of the volunteers felt that the product purified the skin.
- 54% of the volunteers felt that the product toned the skin.
