Fleurance Nature has opted for an exclusive, innovative formula with :

• an extract of turmeric root with a high concentration of curcumins

• enriched with turmeric oil

A scientific study conducted with volunteers in 2015 showed that enriching with turmeric oil can double the quantity of turmeric absorbed by the body1, thus making it more bioavailable than turmeric alone or combined with piperine (obtained from pepper)

Consumed in large quantities, pepper can have a vasodilator effect. Therefore, it is not recommended for individuals with stomach disorders. We therefore decided not to include pepper or piperine in our TURMERIC PLUS formulation to make our product suitable for as many customers as possible while guaranteeing its effectiveness.

Fleurance Nature turmeric extract is a very high quality extract, produced with respect for nature and workers. Our turmeric is grown in southern India, in Salem and Erode, which are two ideal regions given the richness of the soils and the climate. These regions of origin produce turmeric of the highest quality with the highest concentration of curcumins - the active ingredients contained in turmeric. All of the crop operations are integrated vertically, thus guaranteeing greater control across the entire production chain.

Organic recertification of this turmeric extract is currently ongoing.

Some of our supplier’s profits have been reinvested to assist Indian communities focussing on 3 priorities: water, health and education. Over 250 families from 3 coffee-growing villages are already benefiting from the construction of an irrigation system. Over 700 individuals have access to free medical care and medicines. One hundred families of turmeric and coffee producers receive financial assistance to help with their children’s school fees and supplies.

An annual contract has been set up with farms to ensure a regular income and stable economy. The raw material is purchased at a fair price, which is at least 10% above the market price.  Last but not least, assistance is allocated to allow farmers to purchase modern agricultural equipment.

Farmers receive training every 6 months on limiting soil and water pollution. We guarantee that no pesticides are used and the product contains no GMOs. The use of machinery is limited in favour of manual labour.
