Palmarosa’s name comes from its scent, which is reminiscent of rose and geranium, emanating a sweet and very floral fragrance.

Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the aerial parts. In this process, the volatile components (essential oil) are entrained with the steam. The steam then condenses in the essential oil separator, separating the essential oil from the hydrolate (water).

Dilute 2 to 3 drops of essential oil on a neutral tablet, a sugar cube or in a spoonful of honey.
Do not swallow neat.
