Description - Wintergreen essential oil

Fragrant wintergreen is highly aromatic thanks to its leaves which have a strong, persistent odour of camphor. Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. This process involves steam entrainment of the volatile components (essential oil) of the leaves. The steam then condenses in the essence recipient, separating the essential oils from the hydrosol (water).
Wintergreen essential oil is mainly known for its soothing, calming properties due to its high methyl salicylate content - its main ingredient.

Appliquer en massage, diluer 1 goutte dans un flacon de 50 ml d’huile végétale.
Précautions d'utilisation :
- Danger
- Nocif en cas d’ingestion. En cas d’ingestion : appeler un centre antipoison ou un médecin.
- Peut provoquer une allergie cutanée. En cas de contact avec la peau de l’huile essentielle pure : laver abondamment à l’eau. En cas d’irritation ou d’éruption cutanée : consulter un médecin.
- Provoque de graves lésions des yeux. En cas de contact avec les yeux : rincer avec précaution l’eau pendant plusieurs minutes. Enlever les lentilles de contact si la victime en porte et si elles peuvent être facilement enlevées. Continuer à rincer.
- Susceptible de nuire à la fertilité ou au fœtus. En cas d’exposition prouvée ou suspectée : consulter un médecin.
- Nocif pour les organismes aquatiques, entraine des effets néfastes à long terme.
- Tenir hors de portée des enfants.
- Respecter les doses conseillées.
- Ne jamais utiliser pure. Ne pas avaler.
- Ne pas manger, boire ou fumer en manipulant ce produit.
- Déconseillé aux femmes enceintes ou allaitantes et aux enfants de moins de 15 ans.
