Like its cousin lemongrass, lemongrass is a large aromatic herb growing in clumps with long, thin leaves, cultivated in warm regions.
Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh aerial parts. This process involves carrying away the volatile constituents (the essential oil) of the leaves with the steam. The steam then condenses in the condenser, separating the essential oils from the hydrosol (water).
Our lemongrass essential oil, Cymbopogon flexuosus , is 100% pure and natural and comes from Organic Farming.
Active substances: citral ( neral and geranial)
- Dilute 2 to 3 drops of essential oil per day on a sugar cube, in a spoonful of honey or on a neutral tablet.
- Do not swallow undiluted.
- 1 drop corresponds to 25 mg of essential oil.
